Re: Nana Addo is an abysmal failure – Sam George

“People will vote for Mahama because they will be able to compare three years and four months of Mahama to four years of Nana Addo and see that Nana Addo is an abysmal failure. He is super incompetent and is leading this nation into an abyss.” - Sam George

Ghana is bleeding profusely from political leadership crunch. If the NDC is advocating the return of JD Mahama, the most corrupt President next to JA Kufuor, then truly Ghana needs help.

President Akufo-Addo's abysmal failure as President confirms the point I have been making all along, that the home grown leaders do not have the mental acuity or the intelligence to lead the country out of the current economic malaise.

Check it out people. JJ Rawlings spent 19 years, almost the same amount of period Lee Kwan Yew of Singapore to used to develop Singapore. Rawlings' government with his Finance Minister, Kwesi Botchway obeyed the IMF to the letter. In the end, IMF JJ Rawlings and Kwesi Botchway to depreciate the cedi to absolutely nothing. After the cedi was depreciated, the IMF ordered them to sell Kwame Nkrumah's State Owned Enterprises (SOEs)at the depreciated value of the cedi. This happened when Dr. Kwesi Botchwey, the longest serving Finance Minister (19years) was the Finance Minister.

In year 2000, the duplicitous JA Kufour took over from Rawlings and was coaxed the same IMF to declare Ghana as a HIPC country, which many prominent Ghanaians scholars thought it was unnecessary. Under HIPC JA Kufuor sold Ghana's marquee Ashanti Goldfields Ltd. to the British Anglogold in 2003 for half of what it was worth. He also leased the rich Oboasi and Prestea mines to Anglogold for 55 years and gave Anglogold tax holiday until 2015. Then Kufuor and his wife, Mama Theresa traveled to Buckingham Palace to have tea with the Queen.

Then in 2008 just about the time he was going to leave office, JA Kufuour bribed his own NPP majority in Parliament with $5,000 each to approve Ghana Telecom/Vodafone deal. The corrupt NPP majority in Parliament approval not by secret ballot (as required) but by acclamation.

If people know the damage JA Kufour has done to Ghana, no one will pay attention to him.

Under Atta Mills, there was Woyomegate, another NDC surreptitious machinations to finance its 2012 national campaign. President Atta Mills died as a result and was replaced by the most corrupt President next to JA Kufour. JD Mahama presided over unbridled (free for all ) corruption never seen in Ghana before. Yet the NDC Sam George believes Mahama is the person to save Ghana. Tweaaaaa!!!
