Economic difficulties under NPP man-made - Asiedu

Who’s actually making sense? NDC or NPP? Let’s say NDC embarked on building infrastructures to host our students in the schools. The NPP has embarked on training the teachers to teach in these schools: it’s true that the students need infrastructures; but can the infrastructure only help train a child in these schools? Making the teacher training easier, lucrative and attractive is important to help lure in more talented teachers into the teaching field, it also eases unemployment and financial difficulties and help these young talents to develop their skills without the burden of financial constraints which could hinder their ability to study and engage in more research, to help advance the skills to teach their prospective students. This is where common sense must be applied. The same applies to the nurses trainees: would it be prudent enough for the NDC government to push the burden of training these nurses on the student alone or their parents? John Mahama’s move of building hospitals only without training our nurses would’ve been the worst decision ever. If the nurses are adequately trained, patients nurse or doctor ratios would improve and that’s the bedrock of building any perfect and effective Health Care System. The available infrastructures can be expanded, or any new infrastructure building shouldn’t hinder our health care delivery systems. Which is why the NPP has so far made the most efficient decisions. So the NDC’s argument of infrastructure alone and no Human Resources development is a lazy man’s way of a building a community or country. We need to prioritize our resources adequately to ease poverty and to prevent our young men and women from embarking on near death adventures in such of greener pastures in Europe and the Middle East.
