Global warming has become a threat to the life's of people in Africa as a result of excessive deafforestation, minning and bush burning activities. Moreover, climate change that makes rain fed agriculture has become a national threat to sustainable agriculture due to deafforestation. Acquifers are good source of water for drinking, but minning activitities can acidify the ground water making it unsave for consumption. These forest reserves can equally generate economic wealth to the local people whose life's become threat to mining activities. Morever, Ghana has given many mining concessions to people to extract the mineral. We should save some minerals for the next generation. In the next century how will Ghana natural resources look like? We should be wailing and beating gongs to draw people's attention to ways of getting our forest back, not to destroy the reserves. I share the same sentiments with the school children to preserve the forest. A century from now if measures are not put into place to conserve our forest, posterity will judge our actions.
