This tribal and family politics must stop if we havevto develop. You see the stupidity of some Ghanaians? Now you are are asking for reasons for the dismissal of Paul Asare Ansah (POLANS)? When he was being appointed did you ask for reasons? Where in the 1992 Consitution is it stated that such an action should come with reasons? For the article 71 appointment holders spec8fic procedures are prescribed for their appointments and removals, not so for every body else. What we need therefore are guidelines for the other appointments. Without that at the moment the President can appoint and disappoint at will. I agree though that the President has too much power under our Constitution and we need to take action to limit it. Until then this is our lot. And how can a mere constituency level party chairman give ultimatum to the President? And does he know that hat threatening to organize people for civil disobedience could give him problems if the protests go violent and there is loss of lives and destruction of property? Illiterate chairman.
