Mr. Edem Atigah, the former Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ashaiman has called on former President John Mahama to officially apologize to members of the NDC, former President FLT. Jerry John  Rawlings and President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Articulating his views after former President Mahama mocked Prez. Akufo-Addo to alternatively use Obinim sticker to alleviate the Nation's problems, Mr. Atigah said such utterances does not befit a former president.

Edem Atigah said "How can a man open his mouth and pitch obinim and the President in the same compartment and expect to be taken seriously. You’re exposing how cheap and uncouth you’re . You should never have been President. Aaaah! How possible?"

He added that to enjoy the forthcoming political campaigns, there was the need for John Mahama to first apologise for his abysmal performance in the 2016 and reconcile with all the leaders especially former President Rawlings.

Edem Atigah went on to allege that former Prez. Mahama financed a number of false publications against the party's first President, JJ Rawlings.

"Mr.John Mahama, you can’t continue deceiving the public. You financed Alhaji Bature’s vicious fabrications against Rawlings. You’re financing a stable of writers and callers and turn around and say don’t insult Rawlings," Edem Atigah said.

Other party members have also advised former President Mahama to desist from using his unity walks to vilify his internal opponents in order to gain an upper-hand in the Presidential primaries.
