Why should a state agency take on the salary obligations of the Black Stars Coaches? That should be the obligation of the GFA. GNPC does not need to sponsor the Black Stars let alone pay the salary of the coaching staff as there is no tangible benefit to them based on their core business. Waste of resources and misplaced priorities.

It is quite incredible to hear that GFA does not pay salaries or remunerations of its kind to the coach and assistants serving the Team.what then is the responsibility of GFA as a body of the Ghana Soccer Team which collects all gate fees and still not capable of meeting its core responsibility.This shows how fragile the GFA which carries a big name headed by a President and its vice. I suspect such an organization is sitting on a time bomb which could be exploded any time possible,and suggest a quick solution for this problem is to be urgently found by the GFA to generate resources of its own to curb the incidence of a complete explosion in the near future.

$35K a week is too much money in Ghana. It's nonsense for GFA to set the salary but not responsible for paying it. That's why the salary is high and a problem for GNPC. It's also wrong for GNPC to be wasting money like this.

They paid Avram Grant 60k on time plus his assistants and no issues at all, no political jockeying... Appiah only receivein 35k ahich is not bad..
