Majority Member of Parliament for Ngleshie Amamfrom constituency, Hon. Alhaji Habib Saad has cautioned newly appointed MPs against lobbying for positions in government.

Speaking in an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he charged the new MPs to learn from their ‘’senior’’ MPs so they gain experience and diligence.

He said, ''I don’t know why some individuals are rushing for appointments. I get disappointed when I see people rushing for appointments. We should allow the system to work. We cannot all get an appointment.

Some will lobby, others will not but we should allow the system to work and understand that, we will all not get an appointment.''

He further admonished party supporters to assist government appointees to succeed instead of working against them.

The legislator said his focus is to represent the interest of his constituents and ensure that the plan of the current administration materializes.

He encouraged the constituents to exercise patience and trust that he deliver on his campaign promises.

The work of an MP he noted, is difficult but because he has committed himself to do it, he will not disappoint those who voted for him.

‘’I cannot complain of how difficult the job of an MP is because I have decided to do it and so, I will do my best and discharge my duties as required.’’

Outlining some of the challenges confronting his constituency, he said, access to water and electricity are dire in some parts of the constituency.

According to him, the current administration should be given time to work adding, it will be too early to criticize the president over this short period.
