Naa had wanted to stand unopposed. First she tried to get Nana to back women in parliament for NPP but she failed. What I know is that 3 terms ago, Carlos was advised to stand aside for Naa which he did. After 2 terms, Naa refused to step aside. Naa is angry bcos Carlos contested her.
I se this as a Mugabe style of leadership. the seat is not for one person.

In the first place what is the crime of Calos Ahenkora? The only mistake Calos to me he hae commited was to have challanged and beat Naa Torshie in the Parliamentry primaries. But have Naa Torshie forgoten that she also beat no mean a person than then Majority Leader. On that ocassion it was fair. In 2008 elections Naa Torshie won with a majority of close to ten thousand votes. But in 2012 elections it was a close shave As she won with just about nine hundred votes. So what has it thought the npp in that cinstituency? So if you go into a contest and you loose then one behaves As if the palimentary seat is the bonafide property of ones father which must be held only by Naa Torshie. This is absolute trash. Calos has done his bit and should leave the rest to the Almight God.
