Reject corrupt, incompetent and violence Akufo-Addo- NDC guru

The President of Democratic Group for Mahama (DEGFOM), Mr. Amsat Sherrif, has called on Ghanaians to vote against New Patriotic Party (NPP) flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo because he is corrupt, incompetent and violent.

According to Mr. Sherrif, Akufo Addo-'s corrupt practices which include giving out diplomatic passports to notable drug barons some of whom included his incarcerated brother in-law Raymond Amankwah to engage in illicit drug trade give him out as an unreliable and dubious character.

Speaking in an interview yesterday with the Ghana Palaver, the DEGFOM president wondered why Akufo-Addo after engaging in such corrupt practices by using his position as then Foreign Minister under Kufour regime to do such corrupt and illegal activities would want to have the people's mandate.

He said Ghanaians will regret if they vote for Akufo-Addo because his utterances also portray him as a violent and vindictive person interested in political power just to amass wealth and lord it over the people.

Mr. Sherrif noted that the free SHS being promised by Nana Akufo-Addo is rooted in the nation first getting the basics which are eliminating school under tress, providing free uniforms and books and other vital resources which have so far being achieved by the John Mahama led NDC started by the late President Mills.

He said it is only the NDC which can provide the free SHS and not the NPP headed by Nana Akufo-Addo since he cannot be trusted because of his past records when he was Attorney General.

Mr. Sherrif however challenged the leadership of the NDC to also as a matter of urgency introduce its manifesto programme to scale down that being offered by the incompetent, corrupt and violent Akufo-Addo.
