We must get one that can take the seat from NPP - NDC Aspirant

Navrongo (U/E), Sept 1, GNA – Acting Chief Collector of the Internal Revenue Service, Mr Samson Tangombu Chiragia, has picked nomination forms to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) primary in the Navrongo Central constituency.

“I am the right and marketable person that can match the incumbent, Mr Kofi Adda, boot for boot to capture the seat for the NDC because I have worked at the grassroots level for many years,” he said.

Mr Chiragia, 45, said one of his top priorities when he wins the seat would be to create more jobs for the youth and those who were not in school would also be empowered to engage in viable economic ventures.

“Cooperative groups and societies comprising the youth would be formed and given contracts instead of offering them to the individuals”, he said.

Alhaji Baba Salifu, Constituency Chairman, advised the aspirant to do his campaign devoid of insults and stressed that the ultimate aim should be to win the Parliamentary seat of the area.
