Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan says he would be very surprised if Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest exposé reveals that there is rot in Ghana football.

The ace investigative journalist is set to release his latest exposé titled “Number 12” which reportedly captures the corrupt acts of some high-profile persons in football and in politics.

Ahead of the release on June 6, 2018, many have pointed accusing fingers at certain officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), tagging them as corrupt.

There have also been numerous talks of corruption finding its way into Ghana football, with the Ghana Premier League occasionally being hit with accusations of match-fixing and bribery of referees.

However, Gyan insists he has not come across any signs of corruption since he started his career and will be very surprised if any rot is exposed by Anas’ latest piece.

He was, however, quick to add that as national team captain, he is eager to know the content of the exposé.

“As the captain of the Black Stars, I’m interested in the video and will make time to watch it if only I’m in Ghana. I will be very shocked if it comes out clear that there is corruption in our game," Gyan sid in an interview with Hot FM.

“This is because throughout my career I have not come across such an issue to date so we’re all waiting.”
