Outspoken Private Legal Practitioner, Maurice Ampaw, who accused the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu of ‘sleeping’ on his job a couple of weeks back, says he is "happy that Amidu is now awake".

The Office of the Special Prosecutor is on the verge of publishing a list of cases presented to its outfit for investigations and possible prosecution, board Chairman of the office, Madam Linda Ofori Kwarfo has disclosed.

The Special Prosecutor’s Office, which is established under the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act 2017 (Act 959), is one of the highest priorities of the government to fight corruption.

Maurice Ampaw, who is also the founder of Legal Advocacy Foundation, in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ said he will keep Amidu and his team on their toes to work hard and prosecute corrupt past and present government officials among others found guilty.
