The Agona Swedru Circuit court presided over by Madam Patricia Quansah has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of one Eric Sena who is believed to have masterminded an armed robbery operation at the residence of a senior Police Officer in Winneba.

Chief Superintendent Godfrey Tetteh Adjirakor of the Winneba District Police Command had told the Court that, on Thursday, November 7, at about 2000 hours three masked men, armed with a gun and knives, sneaked into the house of the Officer while he was away attending a course at the Police Command and Staff College.

He said they attacked members of the household at gun point and robbed them of a Toyota Camry Car with registration number GR 9615-19, an HP Laptop, three mobile phones and a cash sum of GH¢640.00 and further raped one of the female occupants of the house in turns, after which they drove the car together with the items and escaped.

Chief Superintendent Adjirakor said, on Friday, November 8, investigations led to the arrest of two suspects, Gagadosu Vincent and Maxwell Borty now on remand, at their hideout at Nungua in Accra.

He said, on Saturday, November 9, upon intelligence, the Toyota Camry Car was found parked at the Accra Mall car park, suspected to have been abandoned by Sena an accomplice now at large.

He said on Wednesday, November 20, a third suspect, Douglas Kofi Hammond was also arrested at Cape Coast but the court granted him bail.
