PPP Launches Campaign to Win Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary Seat

*The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) will, on Saturday August 18, 2012, launch its campaign to win the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat in the 2012 general elections.*

*The launch, under the theme – “Change Is Coming … Get Involved!” - will take place at the Dzorwulu Junior High School at 10:00am. Speakers for the occasion include the National Party Chairman, Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond, Vice Chairman, Mary Ankomah Boakye-Boateng, National Secretary Kofi Asamoah-Siaw, National Women’s Organiser, Belinda Bulley, National Youth Organiser, Divine Nkrumah, Parliamentary Candidate, William Dowokpor and the Presidential Candidate - Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom. *

*National Committee members schedule to address the gathering include, Ladi Nylander, Mike Eghan, David Ampofo, Nana Ofori Owusu and Victoria Armah among others.*

*Highlights of the launch include commissioning of polling station teams from Abelenkpe, Adaaman, Santana Video Centre, Santana Market, Airport Roman Ridge, East Legon, West Legon, University of Ghana (Legon), GIMPA, Shiashie, Okponglo, Mempehuasem, La Bawaleshie, Dzorwulu, North Dzorwulu and surrounding areas. *

*PPP flag-bearer Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is expected to centre his speech on the party’s ten point agenda for change with emphasis on the four pillars of Incorruptible Leadership, Health, Education and Jobs, while the parliamentary candidate, William Dowokpor, presents to the his plans for resolving the increasing constituency problems of reliability in utility and public services, facilitating jobs for the youth, security to life and property; and involving the constituents, in the Governance of the constituency.*
