Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has expressed his gratitude to the Ghana Police Administration and has further commended the institution for their professionalism and high sense of integrity.

The General Overseer of the Glorious Word Ministry in an interview with Rainbow Radio’s Kwame Tutu said, he was marveled at the way and manner the police treated him yesterday when he was invited to explain his assassination prophecy about Nana Akufo Addo.

He described personnel of the police service as men with integrity and respect and has called on President Mahama to give them the needed attention because of their selfless dedication and commitment to the security and safety of Ghanaians.

According to him, if not for his visit to the offices of the CID on Wednesday, he would not have seen the resilience, respect and dedication of the service men.

Rev. Bempah was invited by the police following his assassination prophecy some few weeks ago. The prophet had said that some political leaders were planning to kill Nana Addo and called on the security detail of the former attorney general to be on the alert.

The prophet last week expressed his displeasure when the police invited him over the matter and wondered why a pastor would be intimidated by a security agency over a spiritual matter.

However, the man of God has showered praises on the police service after his visit yesterday.

He revealed, the police only wanted him to give them the identity of those who were plotting to kill the presidential candidate of the NPP but I told them that this bothers on spirituality.

"What the police told me was that they have invited me but have not arrested me. They asked me to give further details on my prophecy and those planning to kill Nana Addo. They acted professionally and I have respected them for that. They asked me to draw their attention on any prophecy which may be a possible threat to national security. I never had the slightest idea that they were going to treat me with respect. They are working well. I have respected the police institution for the professionalism they exhibited. I want to take this opportunity to call on President Mahama to provide the police service with the needed support to compliment their efforts. They are concerned about the safety and security of citizens."
