The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr has described as unpopular a decision by Ghana's Parliament to construct a new chamber.

According to reports, the proposed new 450-chamber is being constructed by Sir David Frank Adjaye.

The new facility, Prof. Ocquaye suggested, will make way for the old chamber to be converted into a museum or archive to hold everything that has got to do with Ghana’s history.

Kweku Baako reacting to this on Wednesday's edition of Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' said Parliament should have studied the environment before deciding to do a new chamber.

"It appears to be an unpopular project for now . . . and sometimes it will be useful to read the mood of the people. But we can interrogate it further and make a definite opinion. From my assessment, it's unpopular," he indicated.
