National Chairman of PNC urges the electorate to make history on

December 7

Accra, July 5, GNA 3D Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan, PNC National Chairman has called on the electorate to make history by rejecting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government through the ballot box on December 7. He noted that Ghana had been 'crying' for a change of government that could only materialise when the electorate exercised their franchise by voting against the NPP. Alhaji Ramadan made the call in an interview with Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday.

He said PNC was ready to accept the people's mandate to offer better alternatives in the administration of the country and called on the electorate to vote massively for the party to enable Dr Edward Nasigirie Mahama, PNC Flag bearer and his team implement the Party's policies and programmes.

Alhaji Ramadan said Election 2008 was a search for dedicated, selfless and honest people who would work in the interest of Ghanaians when elected to form the next government. "The December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections are not just a matter of voting and filling vacant positions, but a search for people who would work for the benefit of their communities and nation, " he added. Alhaji Ramadan expressed concern about politicians who campaigned for votes and neglected the electorate after being elected, and urged the electorate to be wary of such politicians and not to be enticed by gifts they would offer to them during electioneering campaign.
