NPP thugs apologise to Tamale hospital CEO

The vigilante group that invaded the office of the Chief Executive Office of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, Dr. David Akolbila has rendered an unqualified apology to him, staff of the hospital and leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The ringleader of the Coalition of Youth Group in Tamale, Baba Alhassanin a statement said their action was borne out of indiscretion.

This was after he was picked up Thursday morning, a day after four others, arrested Wednesday for the offence, were released for lack of evidence.

He is likely to be charged with unlawful entry, offensive conduct and assault.

Northern Region Police PRO Mohammed Yussif Tanko told Joy News investigations are still ongoing to arrest Alhassan’s accomplices in Monday’s attack.
