NPP man donates 100 buckets of paint to B/A party office

Sunyani (B/A), Oct. 12, GNA - Nana Gabriel Nsiah Nketiah, Ghana's Ambassador to South Korea in the New Patriotic Party (NPP)administration on Wednesday presented 100 buckets of paint to the Brong-Ahafo Regional Office of the party.

The items are to be used to paint all the 24 constituency offices in the region to herald the visit of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, the party= 's 2012 presidential candidate, to the region.

The former ambassador made the presentation at a short ceremony in Sunyani. A statement signed by Mr. Kofi Boateng, Brong Ahafo Regional Communications Director of the party, made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the donation was to assist the party to uplift the image and visibility of the constituency offices.

It stated that the gesture of the former ambassador was to motivate other members of the NPP to also support the party to regain power in the 2012 general election.

"This will also ensure that the party in the region is placed on the right pedestal as the activities towards the 2012 electioneering campaign gear up", the statement added.

Receiving the items, Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, Regional Chairman of the NPP, thanked Nana Nketiah for the gesture and gave the assurance that the paint would immediately be distributed to the various constituencies fo= r the intended purpose.

The Regional Chairman called on members to continue to support the party in all diverse fields to ensure total victory in the 2012 elections, the statement said.
