Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho

The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, says a lot of good work has been done by the party under the Presidency of John Dramani Mahama, laying solid foundation for more economic prospects.

What is, therefore, important is for party faithfuls to sell these remarkable and unprecedented achievements to the electorate to vote massively for the NDC in the December 7 general elections to continue its "Transformational and Changing Lives Agenda" which seeks to make the national economy more resilient and robust, he added.

He expressed optimism of a one-touch victory for President Mahama in this year's polls based on his achievements and called on supporters of the party, especially the youth, to be vigilant on the day of election.

He warned them against violent tendencies before, during and after the polls.

Mr. Anyidoho was addressing scores of NDC supporters in the Tafo-Pankrono constituency in Kumasi after they had embarked on a Peace Walk.

He urged supporters to be civil and decorous as they embark on vigorous door-to-door campaigning to make the party's "Operation One-Point-Five Million Votes in Ashanti Region" achievable.

He stated that the success story of the NDC in the Ashanti region and the country as a whole will give overwhelming endorsement of President Mahama and all parliamentary candidates on the ticket of the party, particularly in the stronghold areas of the opposition NPP.

The NDC parliamentary candidate for Tafo-Pankrono, Hajia Memuna Kabore enumerated the many infrastructural projects the constituency has benefited from under President Mahama's Administration.

These include the rehabilitation of Tafo town roads, reconstruction of the Tafo market and improvement of drainage systems.

Hajia Memuna Kabore was optimistic that she would win the Tafo-Pankrono constituency seat from the NPP.
