I’ll defeat current NDC Greater Accra regional chairman hands down – Aspirant

An Aspiring Greater Accra regional chairman of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Yaw Kundow, has pledged to win all the seats in the Greater Accra region in the next election if he is elected.

According to Alhaji Yaw Kundow, he will beat the current Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Ade Coker, hands down because he has what it takes to wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“My current chairman told me initially that he won’t be contesting and that is why I decided to contest but all of a sudden he said he was contesting but since delegates are calling on me, I had no choice than to contest with him“, he said.

“I think I have what it takes to snatch all the seats we lost to the NPP in 2016 and I will make sure we take back all the seats and win power in 2020. I will defeat my chairman Ade,” he added.

Alhaji Yaw Kundow was speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Tuesday.

Yaw Kundow who is also the treasure in the Greater Accra region, said with his vast experience and ideas, if elected to join the next executive, he would bring his wisdom to bear on the party for victory in the next general elections.

He said his vision is to get a welfare scheme for every constituency in order to help members of the party in times of need.

Yaw Kundow believes election 2020 is a must-win for the NDC, a feat that can only be achieved by electing competent people to handle the various portfolios to work for the good of the NDC.

He said Mr Ade Coker, though has proven himself very well, needs to use his experience to support the party and not compete to seek a re-election.
