I have never been corrupt, I will go to Heaven - Yamoah Ponkoh boasts

The former Municipal Chief Executive of Ejisu Juabeng and a stalwart of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Kweku Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh has described himself as a person of exceptional holiness when issues of corruption are raised, tagging the appointees of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as debased.

Speaking on #PureMorningDrive Wednesday, September 4, with Kwame Adinkra, the NDC’s stager expressed disappointment in President Akufo-Addo over what he described as supervision of wanton corrupt practices by his appointees in his administration.

He described the trend of a scandal per week as worrying and unacceptable, charging the President to be proactive and learn from his predecessor [ex-Prez. Mahama] who took measures to address issues of speculated corruption in his administration.

Hon. Yamoah Ponkoh further described himself as a saint as he has never been compromised as an individual and as a public servant.

“Kwame, when you talk about corruption or corrupt people in Ghana, you won’t get me. I am a saint and I know I will go to Heaven if corruption is the metric. This Akufo-Addo regime to be honest with you is so bad. Their Free SHS implementation is commendable but economically, Ghanaians are suffering.

This is so because the government and its appointees are grabbing left right centre.” He echoed.
