‘Ghana now full of wahala’ - Bugre Naabu

The Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Daniel Bugri Naabu has described the Mahama administration as incompetent turning Ghana into ‘wahala’ country.

The outspoken Chairman at a mini rally in Changli, a suburb of the Tamale Metropolis in the Northern Region told party supporters that the only solution to their problems is to vote NPP back to power to save Ghana.

Chairman Bugri told DAILY GUIDE that “currently Ghana is a ‘wahala’ country, and we are not supposed to be suffering when we have gold, diamonds, oil and lands that people can farm.”

He accused President Mahama of losing focus in the management of the country and turning Ghanaians into ‘susu’ people since Ghanaians have to contribute money to manage the country’s affairs.

“Mahama government are mafias, all they know is chopping our money and not having sympathy for Ghanaians.”

According to him, Ghanaians should blame themselves if they vote NDC back to power come 7 November 2016 because nothing will change should NDC be given another four years.

He indicated that government has come out to say that they will subsidise electricity tariffs but till now nothing has been done about it.

‘The main opposition political parties in the Northern Region demanded that government should reduce electricity prices by at least 50% within one week and if they refuse, we will go all out and demonstrate on the street of Tamale’.

Daniel Bugri Naabu lambasted President Mahama of deceiving Ghanaians that he is developing the country most especially the Gonjaland, saying the only project at the Gonjaland was the Damango junction to Sawla road which the NPP government acquired funding during former President Kufour’s administration.

The former Northern Regional Minister in the Kufour’s administration Prince Imoro Andani told DAILY GUIDE that President Mahama was his schoolmate back at Ghana Senior High School, and they both benefited from the feeding grants during their days so he is reminding the president about it if he has forgotten.

He urged the president to do well and pay all arrears before the situation gets out of hand which would go a long way to affect education in the Northern Region.

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale Central, Ibrahim Anyars urged the Zongo communities to vote the NPP into power to create jobs and opportunities for the youth in the area.
