G/A Youth Wing of NDC calls for clean campaign

Accra, Dec. 5, GNA - The Greater Accra Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday appealed to candidates vying for the flagbeaership of the Party to conduct clean campaign.

A statement signed by Mr Thomas Ashong Mustapha, Regional Youth Organiser, said the candidates, their spokespersons, campaign managers and supporters must refrain from maligning one another before, during and after the December Congress for the Party to win the Election 2008. It also appealed to the candidates and their supporters to ensure that the Congress was devoid of acrimony so that the Party would fight the Elections with a united front.

Four people, Mr Eddie Annan; Professor John Evans Atta Mills, Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah and Alhaji Mahama Iddrisu, are vying for the flagbeaership of the Party.
