Exhibition of voters register should be at all polling sation - NDC

Accra, July 6, GNA - The National Democratic Congress (NDC), has suggested that the Electoral Commission should carry out the forthcoming exhibition of voters' register at all polling stations in the country in the interest of democracy.

A statement signed by Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary of the party on Wednesday, said recent adverts in the media inviting the public to participate in the exhibition of the voters' register from July 10 to 16 was not clear about the coverage of the exercise. "We wish to suggest to the Commission that the interest of democracy would be better served, if the exercise is carried out at all polling stations nationwide.

"This would particularly facilitate the detection and deletion of ghost names on the register," the NDC said.
