Dr Bawumia is a real gem and gift from God – Nasara Club

The Nasara Club of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ashanti has congratulated Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on his selection as running mate of the party’s presidential candidate.

A statement issued and signed by Alhaji Ali Musah Zingi, the Regional Coordinator, said: “He is a real gem and brings with him enormous political advantages.”

His strong and admirable credentials as economist and banker, it said, made, him a gift not only to the NPP from God but to the entire nation.

Additionally, it said, his youthfulness, should become a source of inspiration to the young people.

The Club said the choice of a Northern Muslim to partner a Southern Christian, was also a demonstration of the party’s commitment towards fostering national unity and cohesion.

It said they believed that the duo of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia would turn the economic fortunes of the country around and restore hope and confidence to Ghanaians.

The Club expressed joy at the political maturity and comportment leading to the selection and endorsement of Dr Bawumia by the party and asked all NPP members and supporters to take pride for this.

They pledged to work hard, make the needed sacrifices and stand solidly with the presidential candidate and running mate every step of the way to ensure resounding electoral victory on December 7.**
