Embattled General Secretary of the People’s National Congress (PNC) has expressed disappointment in the ruling Akufo-Addo led NPP administration's approach to tackling graft.

According to him, the Mahama-led administration performed poorly in terms of the fight against corruption and he hoped the NPP would have done better but things are getting ‘done in a worst manner’.

"I cannot say things have become better under this administration. How some of the corrupt allegations are handled is not the best. I have not seen any improvement . . . I had high expectations for this administration. We were all loud, determined to change the previous administration. Ghanaians hope they would get things done differently, but we are getting things done in a worst manner".

"We can’t even maintain the standards. We are tired of the rhetoric; what stands you out is giving effect to those words. As far as corruption is concerned this administration does not score better than the one before it," he said.
