‘Bitter’ NDC Fetish Priest curses Bawumia with schnapps over roads

A Fetish Priest and member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Humor Awutsisi Gbor, has allegedly invoked choice curses on Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia with schnapps over his(Bawumia’s) claims that the NDC failed to construct even one stretch of road in the Volta Region.

Mr Gbor is alleged to have cursed the Vice President on the Ziope-Akatsi Highway, a road he claims was constructed by the NDC. He implored the gods to make the Vice President regret for lying to Voltarians.


The Vice President is reported to have said at the Yam Festival of the chiefs and people of Klefe in Ho that the NDC failed to construct roads in the Volta Region even though the region remains the NDC’s stronghold.

Mr Gbor claims his actions are meant to vindicate the NDC who he thinks has done a lot for the people of the Volta Region, and need to be voted for yet again so they can continue to develop the region.

Mr Gbo’s motivation may not just be to prove the Vice President wrong but may also be borne out of sour grapes since he was at the Agotime-Ziope District Assembly as a security person when the NDC was in power but has since lost his job upon the ascent into office of the NPP.

The embittered priest has promised to continue to invoke curses on the Vice President on all other roads built by his party, the NDC.
