ALLTOPS congratulates President Kufuor on his re-election

Kumasi, Dec. 27, GNA - The Association of Liberal Transport Operators (ALLTOPS) has congratulated President J.A. Kufuor for his victory in the December 7 elections.

It similarly commended the other presidential candidates for conceding defeat in the spirit of democracy, unity, stability and national development.

In a congratulatory message signed by Nana Owusu Bempah, National Chairman of the association at its end-of-year get-together in Kumasi on Christmas Day, it noted that the NPP's policy on the transport sector had impacted positively on the transport industry.

He said under the NPP administration, the transport sector had witnessed a positive change with the bringing together of all the transport associations under the umbrella of the Ghana National Transport Co-ordinating Council.

Nana Bempah therefore, hoped that the government would continue to support the various transport unions to acquire vehicles to improve upon their businesses.

The association honoured its members for their hard work, commitment and respect for passengers.
