Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah thinks that the Black Stars will not run riot over Kenya when the two sides meet in Saturday's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Black Stars fans an anticipating that the home side will heavily defeat the Kenyans on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium because of their star-studded squad.

Ghana take on the Harambee Stars in the final group qualifier even though both sides have already sealed their places in the tournament to be held in Egypt in June.

Coach Appiah called up five debutantes for the match including UAE-based midfielder Ernest Asante and Caleb Ekuban who plays in Turkey.

Belgium-based defender Joseph Aidoo, Asante Kotoko duo of Amos Frimpong and Kwame Bonsu are the rest of the new players called into the squad.

Several key players like Captain Asamoah Gyan, Raphael Dwamena, Afriyie Acquah, Harrison Afful and Jonathan Mensah are among to give the chance for the new players to be observed.

In the absence of several key players the Black Stars boss believes the Harambee Stars will be no pushovers in the match to played in Accra.

“It’s important Ghana win every game we play, I believe Kenya has a very strong team and that the game would not be easy,” Appiah said.

Ghana are seeking to defeat Kenya as a revenge over the Harambee Stars for beating them 1-0 in Nairobi in their previous group clash last year.

The Black Stars are also seeking to finish top of the qualifying group and only a victory can guarantee them of that top place.
