Excited students who were given an opportunity to view the newly created Heads of State Museum at the Osu Castle expressed gratitude to government.

According to them, the edifice will go a long way to improve their knowledge on historical facts as well as well as attract tourists leading to massive improvement in the tourism sector.

The former seat of Government, the Christianborg Castle today was commissioned by the President as the Presidential Museum for the country.

The Museum upon completion will see the transformation of the old Castle into a state of the art exhibition hall that will project past presidents of the country. It will also serve as a hub for all state and presidential historical details and documents.

The hall is projected to be completed within a period of eighteen months. It is one of several National projects being commissioned as part of the Ghana’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
