The 60th independence anniversary boxing bouts scheduled for the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra are expected to thrill fans on Saturday, March 11.

The bouts are under Streetwise Promotions in collaboration with Errol hawk Sports Management and supported by the Ghana, 60 Years On secretariat.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised to be on the ringside.

IBF lightweight contender Richard ‘Azonto’ Commey is billed to take on Belgian Hedi Slimani in a WBC Silver bout in his specialist division.

Frederick ‘Okunka’ Lawson, who is now based in the United States of America, will also take on Jamaican Sakima Mullings in the welterweight division while Duke ‘The Baby Face Terminator’ Micah faces Jonathan Aguilar from Mexico in the bantamweight division.

The night is part of the year-long commemoration of Ghana’s 60th independence anniversary.

There will be five undercard fights before the three world title bouts.
