JE Sarpong targets final day survival

Ebusua Dwarfs coach J.E Sarpong is confident that his team will beat Inter Allies in their final league game to avoid relegation.

Dwarfs are logged on 34 points after 29 games making it extremely difficult to see how they will avoid the drop this season.

Sarpong, who replaced Professor Kwesi Mintah, has struggled for consistency since taking over early this year.

Dwarfs will need to win against Inter Allies side that has lost only once in the second half of the season and hope other results go their way.

“We are not giving up. There is still a possibility that we can stay up so we will give it our best shot,” Sarpong told GHANASoccernet.com

“We know our destiny does not lie in our own hands but we will do our part to stay alive,” he added.

The 2013/2014 Ghana Premier League will end on Wednesday.
