Job Description

Job Purpose

The successful candidate shall be responsible for developing and delivering the strategy for new business development in close collaboration with Senior Management.

Role Specific Requirements

  • Developing insightful recommendations on strategic direction and identify/ evaluate specific project opportunities that help bring about grow and access to the market.
  • Create project support and analysis, presentations, reporting and industry research.
  • Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients and attending networking events.
  • Research, build and maintain direct relationships with key partners.
  • Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
  • Responsible for securing new customers and managing existing client accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets, provide sales forecasts and proactively take initiatives to improve sales performance.
  • Gather market intelligence covering new trends, competitor rates and related activities to effectively approach the market.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities within assigned territory.
  • Develop a database of suitable leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email and networking.
  • Prepare contract agreements, proposals and other documents for clients.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business Development/Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar role
  • Experienced in preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for the future projects
