6-year-old Christopher needs $3,402 for a brain tumour surgery

Within 72 hours, six-year-old Christopher Agyare with brain tumour needs an urgent surgery or he may lose his life as he can't talk, walk, eat or move.

Christopher is a kindergarten one pupil diagnosed with brain tumour. He lives with his parents in Akim Swedru, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

His father, Cephas Agyare Boateng is a trader and mother, Joyce Appiah also a trader have already lost everything including their businesses just to pay for Christopher’s past surgery.

Early 2017, Chris parents found that he has started becoming weak many times and decided to take him to the Achimota Hospital. They did an MRI at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, which confirmed he had a brain tumour.

Four months later, he had a surgery at 37 Military Hospital in October 2017. But sadly, the tumour has reappeared and another surgery needs to be done, this time at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.

Christopher has been diagnosed with Right Parietal Lobe Tumour. He is to undergo a Craniotomy and Excision of the tumour. He needs a whopping sum of $3,402 for this second surgery at Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.

Crowdfrica is, therefore, calling for help to raise money for Christopher’s brain tumour surgery.
