Company supports Korle-Bu Children’s Block

The Children’s Block of the Korle- Bu Teaching Hospital has received items worth GH¢5,000 from Alsale Services Limited, dealers in office automation equipment, in Accra.

The items were mattresses, pillows, detergents, assorted fruit drinks and used clothing.

The gesture was part of activities marking the company’s10th anniversary.

Presenting the items, the Managing Director of Alsale, Mr Ahmad Adade Boakye, said the gesture was to show the company’s appreciation to society for supporting its activities.

He said children were dear to the company, hence the company’s decision to share its success with them on the day which marked exactly 10 years of its establishment.

Mr Adade Boakye impressed on individuals and organisations to support children in any small way they could.

“We operate in the vicinity of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and we couldn’t have had this important celebration without thinking of a hospital which is close to us and of the children there in particular.”
