Another incompetent fool. The rain was an act of ‘god’ but the but the shoddy work was an act of the company . If over 100 years old rail line was rehabilitated it means that various improvement was carried out in order to achieve a higher standard by today’s criteria. It also means that due diligence in relation to post completion inspection was also carried out before it was certified as satisfactory.
If soon after completion of the work and rain washes away the line you cannot blame it as act of god. Pure incompetence. One would expect a competent minister to launch an investigation so that lesson of shoddy work may be learned. Instead what do you get. Lazy minister defending the indefensible
