Minuahbaa Frema Busia, your lack of objectivity in this open letter is understandable. Overly praising your the achievements of dad, the eminent prof-cum political figure is to be expected from a loving daughter.

However, by opining that “In our intellectual and political spatial dynamics ... Danquah’s significance was totally surpassed by Dr. Busia’s prominence and outclassed by Dr. Nkrumah”. A complete bias, in my humble opinion. In the same way “... a comparison of Danquah VRS BUSIA is a comparison of unequals” is completely erroneous.

In my view, Ghana is blessed with incomparable leaders and we should not allow ethnic differences, political ideologies and religious beliefs to tear us apart.

I sincerely hope that all the young people of Africa would read and discuss Africa in Search of Democracy by Dr. Busia, I Speak Of Freedom, & Africa Must Unite by Dr. Nkrumah.

In the part two of your series, sister Frema, you should stress the importance of creating a sane, humane, & ecological Africa that emphasizes patriotic democracy, respect ethnic & religious differences, cherishes human rights & freedom of the Press, and uses Science & Technology & Innovations.
