  in ghana we seemed to pretentious on very critical and serious national issues. you cannot be blowing fire with water in your mouth and expect the fire to explode.you cannot be going around with cup in hand begging and expect to be a sovereign state.within were made to believed by npp that ghana have all the natural resources and can generate the necessary finance for its development. but what is the stark reality today. npp is pilling our debt stock very fast within the shortest possible time they have assumed power.   I am sad to admit to all well meaning and Ghana loving readers out here that Ghana, our country cannot and will never develop, creating the opportunities we all hunger for. Before you stone me across the Internet let me make myself clear; There is a succinct difference between the mentality of the rich and that of the poor. Poor people generally purchase liabilities and have a poor relationship with money while rich people buy appreciable assets with the principal motivation of increasing wealth. It is simply a different approach of living life.
  I say authoritatively that Ghana cannot develop because those who are charged to lead seem to always have a poor mentality; be it ministers or high ranking public servants. They are incapable of considering the public good. Their primary motivation is to steal everything and whatsoever is not nailed to the ground. If by happenstance any of these rogues are caught embezzling public funds, there is lots of noise making for sometime after which there is deafening silence. There is no accountability for wrong-doing. Compare that with developed countries where ministers and former presidents have been punished and jailed for using their influence to benefit their cronies. I am not speaking of blatant stealing here. In our country, the same resources needed to develop the country is what is finding its way into private pockets to finance their lavish lifestyles. What really upsets and aggravates me the most is that not only are they stealing the future of the nation but they do it in style; with arrogance and with no sense of modesty. As for me I have already prayed to God that if there is such a thing as reincarnation I do not want to find myself a second time in this abominable part of the world. I have also pleaded with the creator to let me back however if Ghanaians become radical enough to find it in ourselves to have every person who heads a public institution or becomes a minister to take an oath at a Ghanaian shrine. Development will certainly overtake us if we do because not only will truth become a way of life, it would also catapault us to where we belong on the international stage because Ghanaians are indeed awesome by creation.

  How so Mr. Adofo? Does NPP need money to run the country? An incoming government that needs money to run the country will not begin its mandate by slashing taxes left and right. How many tax holidays has Ghana Parliament meted out to foreign companies? If Ghana Parliament claws back all the devious tax holiday agreements, including JA Kufuor's diabolical 15-year tax holidays gift to Anglogold, Ghana will be swimming in tax revenue to speed up the country's development agenda.

While countries like Singapore and Holland that do not have one-half of our natural resources have developed their two countries using effective fiscal policies, we in Ghana bereft of all common sense are giving away taxes which could have speeded up our development in shady deals, The diabolical JA Kufuor NPP gave Anglogold in 2003 15 years tax holiday in addition to leasing our rich gold fields for example; Obuasi, Prestea, etc. to Anglogold for 65 good years. What idiot is an African?
  
  Singapore, a marshy land, a country with no natural resources is now among the top countries in the world per capita, and our own Ghana overflowing with every natural resource one can think of is cap in hand begging for handouts! Doesn't that say a lot about our people - useless and lacking conviction of purpose as people?
  
  This bozo Bawumia goes to China by Chinese invitation and is handed over US$2bn Chinese loan under the guise of supporting 'the one district, one factory' NPP boondoggle. A loan the NPP government never solicited - it was just handed to these blockheads on a silver platter. So what happens when Akufo-Addo's cabinet have issues pertaining to Chinese in the country or China the country? Ghana's sovereignty is in peril - the sovereignty for which Sergeant Adjetey lost his life is now in the hands of the Chinese due mainly to the stupidity of Bawumia.
