I support it 1000%. Bring the law into force without delay and also establish a fast track judicial system to trial thieves (armed robbers) separate from petty thieves stealing fowls and foodstuff without violence or threat to their victims.
Give the citizenry (or potential lynchers) a sense of justice.
I believe Ghana will work again with these people in-charge. I think this npp communicator & his colleagues make much sense than communicators from the other party who were always out to insult people or defend their government even when commonsense suggested otherwise.

What we need is to ban all forms of vigilante and paramilitary groups belonging to political parties. Those who want to rule must learn to be law abiding first.
Secondly, our police services need a major overhaul, the men and women of the service require better training and adequate supply of logistics to help improve their service delivery.
It is a shame that political parties invest tax payers money in forming, training and arming vigilantes, while ignoring state police services. This nonsense must end.

You hypocrites, learn to appreciate what the poor person goes through too...There are people being lynched everyday but no monument has been erected for them, no president has given out monies to bereaved families, why the sudden turnabout? By the way no one has even told me why the soldiers were there in the first place. Didn't the military tell us that no soldiers has been deployed to any mining concern when Mr Amewu raised the issue?...hmmmm

The security agencies, chiefly the police have encouraged such 'culture'(mob lynching) among the citizens. Their preparedness, honesty and commitment sometimes leaves much to be desired. On formal basis, you catch a thief or robber,he or she is being sent to the police for prosecution and the 'otherwise' happens. I suppose Ghanaians have been crestfallen for a while in this very institution. The police encourages such practice and they must correct the situation asap.
