I have been following the gruesome and callous murder of this young promising captain.The stories being churned out are inconsistent,foolish,baseless and just does not add up.To begin with these primitive barbarians should be given severe beating and punishment if they try in anyway to provoke the soldiers since violence and savagery is the language they speak.From the accounts we are hearing from the former DCE,this is a volatile town notorious for series of violent brutalities as part of their way of life.It only exposes the weaknesses in our security and justice system particularly with regards to the police.Where have the police been all this while with series of violent mob actions that i am cocksure have taken away many innocent lives under cover?This is not a mere soldier but a commander of a platoon with armed pistol attacked by people who can only be described as uncultured,uncouth,violent oriented with sub-human conscience who are trigger happy to kill.Note it was a women with violent instincts and gusto, who should naturally have empathy for fellow mankind being a mother who poured the petrol on him.Unfortunately the captain is a northerner like myself often perceived as violent and aggressive especially by some southerners whose primitive and infantile instincts allows for hasty,baseless judgement informed by ethnic prejudice and hate.If army garrisons can be put in some hot spots in the north,I do not see why this primitive enclave cultured towards war and violence should not have an army garrison stationed there as the police appear toothless and over powered by these barbarians.It mustn't take the callous and gruesome murder of the young captain posted there for duties to bring the diabolic activities of this primitive enclave to the notice of the country.Most of these mining towns along the coastal belts of central and western regions with thick forest,valleys and hills are actually notorious for murder that goes unpunished simply because the youth despite being largely illiterates are far more than capable of covering cases by bribing their way through with gold wealth obtained through illegal mining(gallamsey).High level crimes such as murder and armed robbery in gold mining towns is an issue known to any average discerning Ghanaian.Even in the captain's home town of Bole there have been an upsurge of crimes within a relatively short period of the gold mining business because of its related economic benefits not to talk of old mining towns along the coastal belts.Perhaps because he is a soldier,he did not do a thorough situational analysis and risk assessment of these remote coastal towns with a habitation like thick forest,valleys and hills that allows for high level crimes like murder and armed robbery.When our brother was callously and heartlessly dismissed by the Ghana Health Service as medical practitioner through blackmail by the management of Effia Nkwanta Hospital informed by ethnic prejudice and hate earlier on emphasized on,he was taken to Dunkwa Offinso by a senior colleague to work in a private hospital,where the Central University also had a base for practical clinical training for Physician Assistants(PA).According to him, he was hit by an instinct to abrogate the contract and leave the town immediately considering the topography of this remote distant rich gold mining town with a dense forest,valleys,hills and deep mining pits that serve as a rich nidus for high crimes like murder and armed robbery.The hospital was indeed owned by rich gold dealer who also had many properties including private schools and churches.He promptly agreed to pay my brother Gh.C8000.00 plus allowances amounting to Gh.C3000.00 in addition to a four wheel drive,toyota highlander as office car for his day to day movement.The location of his house, other than the general environment that appeared extremely dangerous was frightening, as a very large building on top of a valley in a forest area very far from town.He instinctively fled Dunkwa Offinso immediately the next morning by the nature of the environment alone in a distant remote area where you can be murdered on the quiet and dumped in the forest or one of those huge gold pits or well on the quiet without notice.The contract was juicy and enticing for somebody who have been jobless for years,but he never thought of it but rather took to his heels.This was at the height of a suit he filed against the Ghana Health Service at the Accra High Court making him a potential target by superiors because he honestly had a very good case having been wrongly and illegally dismissed.A few years later in the north, a laboratory man he met at the said private hospital in Dunkwa Offinso told him point blank he was very fortunate to have left the town as his life would have been short lived without disclosing further the details.
