The worst of it is the NDC 2016 teacher recruitment which sought to give jobs to NDC youth. If any doubts ma assertion that GES is a useless education egency in Ghana plss I'm ready to battle the person out. He have lot of UCC and Winneba education graduates out there without job yet GES gave appointments to graduates with no clue in teaching. We shdn't see teaching as something anybody can do. It is this attitude that is producing half baked graduates. I've ever taught in an SHS and so I know what I'm talking about. I was trained from ucc as a teacher but GES is sick so I left. 45% of teachers in shs are not qualified. They lack both content and pedagogical knowledge. How can a Ghanaian language teacher be a full time English tutor?. Yes language is language and we have areas of convergence but technically it doesn't make professional sense. How can one with degree in linguistics and philosophy teach literature in English and all aspects of the shs English subject. The college of education studies of UCC and UEW must sit up and serve as a satellite on GES. Most of the leaders of GES and the various teacher unions are aware of these rots yet the moment their palms are greased to tend to overlook. How can okudjeto organise exams for teachers from UCC and Winneba together with legon and other university graduates and at the end choose not to recruit the UCC and winneba graduates who were trained as teachers. Let's get serious in Ghana. What does the legon or knust guy knows abt assessment, history and management of education, educational psychology, methods of teaching, selection of instructional resources, special education etc. I still maintain the GES and it's ministry of education are useless. They had better not been there. Long live mother Ghana.

Pls don't forget to add the District and Regional Directors. Nobody supervises them. Only chop chop..... and arm -chair reports. They're the main obstacles in the implementation of any Educational Policy. Over to you Minister ... read full comment

I agree with you.Because currently forinstance the Headmistress of OLA SHS Ho has just sent all the final years home with impunity to go for their third term school fees even though the 2nd term has not ended.She has slapped parents with a bill of 575GHC whereas most of the students will not spent up to a month of the 3rd term.And GES officials in Ho and Accra have pretended they not aware of this abuse of power

He claim that he is an Npp surpporter but he is not,Bullet preturns to fighting for Npp party and that Nana Addo hired him to killed many people in Ghana. Bullet has about 1000 followers,all of them are young men and girls,they deals in drugs such as cocaine,weed,arm robbering,assasinating people. Bullet moves from Tamale to Accra when Npp came to power claiming that he wanted to fight for Npp surpporters at Sodom and Gomorrah but Bullet and his men started arm robbering,rapping young girls,dealing with fake currency,drugs dealing. Bullet said that no Police officer can arrest him because of Nana Addo and Kenedy Agyepong hired him. Bullet was arrested today at Sodom and Gomorrah Konkomba market,but his boys said they will continue to attack people unless the police release their master. Bullet boys are still at his palace shooting guns and knifes. Theres another young criminal call Somed whose held from Yendi that young man robbs every night. Somed also live at Sodom and Gomorrah a friend to Bullet. Another criminal name Abubakari whose is also lives at Sodom and Gomorrah behind the police station call jonkieline,Abubakari sales drugs,weed,cocain,hes also arm robber. Anyone whose has contacts of Accra regional police should contact them to arrest these bad guys. Safe lives please please.

If the junior officers who cannot deliver in the classrooms run to seek refuge in. the District offices, do not inspect, but only visit to terrorise the teacher and ask for favors.
