Ghana is still paying the price for the episodic death of President Atta Mill, which created the opportunity for the incompetent yet corrupt John Mahama to assume the Presidency through the backdoor.
Now we have another incompetent and unintelligent northerner, Bawumia, just as John Mahama, waiting in the wings in anticipation of the eventual demise of the substantive President, Akufo Addo, suppose he wins on December 7, then he would sneak in from the backdoor and further mess up the lives of our people.
Regrettably and very sadly, our nation has the most vivid experience of the leadership of men of the north, and there is nothing to write home about. First, we had the taste of Dr. Hilla Limann's two and a half years disastrous Presidency in third republic from 1979 to 1981. It is instructive to know that Dr. Limann, just like John Mahama came into the Presidency through the backdoor, and had no vision and capabilities, and no flair for the job at hand. Thanks to the coup in December 1981 that put him out of his misery. Right now, we have another discombobulated northerner who also sneaked in through the backdoor, John Mahama, and whose main leadership concept is to be loved by everyone and corrupt at the core. To say John Mahama is cut out to be President is the most visceral joke of the century - a man without conscience, unintelligent, and confused as hell.
The least said about the foreboding Bawumia's Presidency in the eventful death of Akufo Addo suppose the latter wins the December 7 polls and the former sneaks into the Presidency as his predecessors from the north have always done, the better. The country will wait with bated breath to witness another calamity unfold.
