Repent and accept christ and be saved. Jesus is real and he is red in complexion. He appeared to me on five occasions. I have also seen the father twice.

Gideon do you really understand what the writer is talking about? Get knowledge from outside the bible. Get an open mind and read wide.

  • Kwabena Yeboah 7 years ago

You rather should get knowledge if you believe this garbage. God is neither black nor white. He is spirit and according to the bible, John 4:24, God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth ...

the writer said many things that needs to be chewed on well. It is not as if he is directing us to one religion but he draws our attention to how close and similar these religion are related.

You quote John who was a disciple. But what did John's MASTER say of God. And what is the complexion of John's MASTER, as a complexion of a new or a caucasian? Imbibe wisdom.

  • 1 Loaf 7 years ago

I mean the complexion of JEW or Caucasian. Sorry.

  • Kwabena Yeboah 7 years ago

I don't understand your question, but you can take this opportunity to educate me. What was his master's complexion?

  • Balderash 7 years ago

He was no lily white person. Paul was once mistaken for an Egyptian. These were dark-skinned people. Tell us why white-skin is described as a curse in the bible?

  • Kwabena Yeboah 7 years ago

Who are you talking about, Paul or God? Very irresponsible response.

  • KA 7 years ago

But the writer didn't say God was white or black. That's not how I understood him.

The writer is trying to trace the origin of the worship of what we now call God. He goes beyond the ambit of the Bible (where you, Kwabena, ...

The introductory sentence says it all:

"At the root of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is the worship of the Black God of antiquity".

    He continues:

This is a poignant revelation in carefully and correctly situating A ...

Yes, the writer wrote those very words but you are giving a different meaning to them.

He is saying that in those ancient days, the people had to humanize the god they were worshipping and they conceived of it/him/her as ...
