Was and is the GBA any better than other associations of a collection of classroom educated Ghanaian professionals or the Department of Education in Ghana? Sam Okudzeto could not be the god you make him out to be, Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe, if the GBA helped fashion/champion the current childish document we call the Ghana constitution, the mess we call Ghana judiciary or the wanton display of court jesters we read and hear about court cases, filings and decisions rendered by courts in Ghana. After all is it not people with presumed legal credentials that make up the GBA and fill our court benches?
If you will take time to read your own posted article, Dr. Kwame, you may just come to understand how sad they are and how hypocritical even your best writing have been; the exercise may just help change the facade you put out. Ghana's education system, good or bad today, did not come by happenstance but by design from our classroom educated but ignorant elite class but it damn sure did not take place over the Mills-Mahama era. Remember that Nkrumah built Ghana's Atomic Research Institute in Accra and no sooner had he left the Ghana scene did members of the grand old NPP/UP/UGCC/matemeho clowns with presumed classroom education came through and dismantled the place for political party loyalties over love of country. So who is left in Ghana to talk about the sciences in our educational system but NPP and NDC classroom educated but ignorant elites with minimal wisdom? Whatever is bad about Ghana today came thanks to the ignorance of the NPP parent party that wanted freedom and liberties but yet to know what they meant and or usher in a foreign concepts of democracy they could not grasp then or now. Democracy has not come to China or Russia and yet we find a pretentious democratic Ghana and it's citizens trooping in and out of Communist China to buy everything including life itself or into Middle Eastern countries, more brutal than anything Nkrumah could have dreamt, to buy goods even while we say there's nothing worthy about communism and it's educational systems or governance. We invite and accept professionals from Cuba to help a "democratic" Ghana solve it's problems and challenges with no shame or remorse because we've become a nation with no separation between wisdom and folly and or between love and hate.
When you, Dr Kwame, get to learn anything positive or become enlightened from your current domicile you can write something worth consuming for your wisdom challeged fans
