Much has been written on the epic 4th June, and the skill, courage, and achievements of the Ghanana's ace pilot, JJ. His superb training, his aggresive spirit, and the mind-boggling tricky of his flying skills could thrash any competent and courageous enemy.
Once again, I lift my glass in honor of this Ghanaian fighter pilot, JJ. This man can vector the rotary thrust nozzle in flight and tighten his horizontal turn unnaturally. Even more astounding is his ability to decelarate and drop 200 MPH worth of airspeed without climbing in less than 20 seconds and no conventional fighter pilot on his six o'clock can avoid a potentially fatal overshoot.
Yes, we call him "Galagui" and other fliers regard him as the finest military pilot on earth. They may be right! Standing atop a pyramid of accomplisments unlike that of any other Ghanaian flier, he shares ample reason for his seemingly egotiscal pride and attitude.
Yes, aviators are clearly of a type that are motivated, mature, and self-starters. JJ is all of these. He is blindingly brilliant and has managed effortlessly to mix academics, extracurricular activities,competitive atletics with fun.
Gosh, I miss it all. We both miss being fitted for a set of exotic 'speed jeans,' anylon G suit that, when connected to the jet's bleed-air system will automatically inflate to squeeze our legs and abdomen under G-loading, thus minimizing the pooling of blood in the lower extremities.
JJ, the call sign is Gbeve, and I salute you on this day- the June 4th. To the men who flew with us and those who bled to death fighting for our freedom and liberty, here is a glass of drink; and I am raising it up and drinking in their honor.

With what has happened during Kuffour's regime and after let me tell you that there will likely be another June 4 one day. Our democracy has turned into democazy where politicians who did not even experience the life prior to that great day are the ones misbehaving all over. To them politics is the easiest way to become wealthy. We need to remember what caused June 4, else Ghana will get no where. Ghanaians are more corrupt than before. There too much impunity because of greed.
