In the USA we saw the greatest democracy in the world go to battle in the courts over the outcome of what counts as a completed voter form. Should the UK ban anyone especially Ghanaians who qualify to vote in UK elections but also carry Ghanaian citizenship? To be precise should any Ghanaian by birth, blood pr parentage be allowed to vote in the UK since the Ghana constitution describes anyone of Ghanaian birth or parentage, irrespective or where they were born, as Ghanaians with voting rights? If Ghanaian citizenship should not disqualify Ghanaians with British citizenship or residency to vote then how the hell do you and a bunch of dimwits in NPP Ghana thinks Ghanaians living outside Ghana on the African continent should not be barred from voting in Ghana because of their residency in another country? Does the rather generous definition of Ghanaian citizenship not apply to Ghanaians living outside Ghana in other African countries?
Please look, listen, read and learn from the Brits and you may just come to realize how convoluted your current stance has been. If you think society should give credit to Nana Akufo-Addo for losing his 2012 Supreme Court on a baseless court challenge then you should be thankful that Mahama’s NDC administration did not ask the courts to issue warrants for the arrest of NPP leadership for knowingly wasting time and causing financial loss to the nation. Could one not make the case that the 2012 frivolous court challenge by NPP forestalled economic growth in Ghana?

Please come out with reason why Ghana needs a new voters register or not instead calling names. I am vehemently against a new voters register for now because I cannot see how this can be done giving the fact that the infrastructure necessary to make it possible to product a near credible voters register is non-existent in Ghana. Secondly, I feel strongly that new registration exercise will open the floodgate for the political parties and others to register more ghost names and we must think about the cost. I dare anyone to confirm sincerely that Ghana has ever produced a credible voters register since independence!! It appears to me that the NPP is playing a game with Ghanaians without thinking about the wellbeing of the country which also suggests to me that its membership lacks common sense.
