I have a special phone for whatsapp messages alone which I keep at home for fear of getting broken. I use an ordinary phone to pick messages and when I reach home, I transfer the messages to my whatsapp phone by bluetooth.

Whatsapp is predominantly used by the young who are more likely to use fanciful statuses and change these often together with their profile pictures. I can also surmise that the elderly who use whatsapp won't care about their statuses, will fall on one of the default ones and may not even have a profile picture, let alone change it often. Some of them may even forget to check their whatsapp kuraaa may have many messages crying to be read which they don't care to see. The app may not even be on the first page of their fones.
With the proliferation of chat apps, whatsapp still remains the runaway favourite among Ghanaians followed, perhaps, by Viber whose audio functions are better known that that of whatsapp.
But, dear writer, why do you keep saying "your love ones"? And why did your girl put up the pic of that guy?

You fibber, how could you be in a meeting with your boss in the office, and yet have the time to look at your WhatsApp messages? Don't crack me up, you liar. What kind of job are you in, and who could your boss be? Is this a joke?
