The military removal of Dr. Lliman was not the first and last coup in Ghana and affected every Ghanaian and not just those from his hometown, district or tribe. You do not see the Fanti people walking around with their underwear in a bunch because of all the leaders from the Fanti tribe killed or removed from office by the zealotry and irrational thought processes of people who could care less about principles.
For starters Dr. Llimam, was not in office to save his town or tribe but to govern Ghana. Government and governing in Ghana, if you care to know Dr. Imoro, has been a failure since 1966 even when leaders had resorted to tribal preferences in sharing in the national looting. The NDC is not a party that ever boasted of its intellectual base neither has any of its members wrapped themselves in American flag imitations while advocating democratic ideals and values; it's your beloved party the NPP Dr. Imoro. Is president Mahama not a Northerner or does he not count because of his choice of religion or party preference? Think Dr. Imoro before you attempt your next writing for it is the NPP that barf on democratic best practices and procedures yet use kokoase tribal tactics to offend the masses. Show your Democratic values from within the party then you will know and understand how it works in government. To pretend that goat heads are preferable over substance is the kind of enlightenment I would rather not have in Ghana; you cannot have democracy by the role of a dice or invocation of tribal preferences at the top levels of a political party period.
