What is new leadership and what are some of the new leadership qualities you seek, Mr. Yaw Manu? Preaching from the NPP talking point playbook betrays you for a charlatan. Let’s see who has leadership qualities in Ghana, shall we?
In my corner of the world, a competent leader is one who has principles and cannot be corrupted by party or tribe. Tell me, Mr. Manu, if you know anyone that can foot the bill? It cannot be President Mahama and darn sure cannot be Nana Akufo-Addo and his sidekick Dr. Bawumia. I have no qualms with their preparedness but everything to do with their lack of principles, honesty and integrity.
Let’s see, it is Nana Akufo-Addo himself who told us all he knew Kufour was giving out state lands like there was no tomorrow but chose to be loyal to party than Ghana even when he felt it was unseemly. Was that love for Ghana, principled or love for party? We do not want to waste time on the NDC because even dead rats in Ghana know why they're dying out. But we cannot change governments by trading a bad one for one that we perceive to be not as bad. We change by doing away with the NDC and NPP for some period of 8-years minimum where they will get a chance to think about mother Ghana and not pocket book politics.
